Sarah was born and raised in Los Altos, California. She began writing poetry as a teenager and continued throughout her 20s and 30s. When she started sharing her poetry publicly she was thrilled by the response, understanding for the first time her talent of articulating how many people feel. Songwriting has been a natural evolution for Sarah, and a long-delayed dream come true. She’s released two EPs and two singles in the past few years. Her music has been described as fun, poignant, hopeful and haunting with a mix of pop, country and folk influences.

Sarah lives in Los Angeles with her husband Peter and their two sons. She works for Encore.org as a storytelling and media specialist. Family, friends, yoga, travel, spirituality, food and film are a few of her other loves.
