Guy’s Girls
by on April 27, 2001 in Poetry

Back stabbing
Guy grabbing
Girls
I’ve had my share
Girls who say
One thing to your face
And another
When you’re not there
Girls who smile all the time
Put on a show
To hide who they are inside
If they even know
Girls who want to please
Who get down on their knees
Well I’d rather be a tease
But those girls blow
If I wasn’t one of them
I don’t think I’d be a fan
But I am and I’m just
Doing the best I can
To rise above
All of their pettiness and games
I know that I’m different
But I look just the same
Manipulating
Controlling
Girls
Get in my way
They think they’ve got
Me where they want
Cause I smile
And say okay
Yeah I’ll do
What I have to
But I won’t ever
Be like you
So don’t try
To be my friend
There’s just no way
